Our society was incorporated in 1967 and is responsible for administering the Applied Science Technology Act of Nova Scotia, maintaining and enforcing high standards of technical and ethical competence, and ensuring the consistent and effective certification of technicians and technologists. |
The Act regulates the use of the nationally trade-marked professional designations: CET Certified Engineering Technologist, C.Tech, Certified Engineering Technician and Applied Science Technician, AScT Applied Science Technologist |
