Maritime Pressure Works, located in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, is currently recruiting a CAD Draftsperson. The CAD Draftsperson is primarily responsible for modelling plant equipment with good design practice for operation and maintenance, generating pipe and structural fabrication drawings, material take-offs, and layout drawings, providing drawing and data file support for stress calculations, purchasing, and quality assurance.

What will the successful candidate bring to the table?
· A minimum 3-5 years’ experience in plant and/or fabrication environment design.
· Solid knowledge base of piping design and drafting of various type of plant systems (steam, condensate, natural gas, propane, ammonia, CO2.
· Intermediate computer skills including MS Office Suite, and Adobe Acrobat, as well as experience with AutoCAD, AutoPLANT, Plant 3D, PDMS, and cadwork in a 3D modelling environment.
· Solid experience working with P&ID drawings and piping codes.
· Well developed editing and proofreading skills.
· Reliable knowledge base of industry best practices.
